Experienced Carpenter (Full-Time)

J Morse Construction is seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Carpenter to join our team. We specialize in exterior construction and interior remodeling across Cape Cod, focusing on quality craftsmanship and doing the job right the first time.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and understands what it takes to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of carpentry including framing, decking, siding, and finish work
Read and interpret plans, layouts, and specifications
Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Communicate clearly with crew members and project leads

Qualifications

3+ years of carpentry or construction experience
Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and construction methods
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily
